What is BrightCIS? 

BrightCIS is a standalone, cloud-based software built to handle every aspect of your CIS management. It provides secure, intuitive tools to manage subcontractors, verify details, process payments, and submit your monthly returns to HMRC. 

For our BrightPay Cloud customers, we’re pleased to offer exclusive discounted access to BrightCIS. This means you can enhance your existing subscription with powerful CIS management tools — at a special rate available only to BrightPay Cloud users. 

The BrightCIS and BrightPay Cloud integration will be available in just a few days. This long-awaited feature will bridge the gap for BrightPay Desktop users, providing a dedicated CIS solution that integrates seamlessly with BrightPay Cloud to deliver a complete, end-to-end payroll and CIS system. When you migrate to BrightPay Cloud, you’ll also benefit from an exclusive customer discount. 

Once the integration goes live, you’ll be able to send Gross CIS Deductions from BrightCIS into your P30 — making your payroll process smoother and more accurate. In the meantime, simply copy the final CIS figure from BrightCIS into BrightPay, and you’re all set! 

Not using BrightPay? 

You can still take the hassle out of CIS compliance with BrightCIS. Designed to save you time and reduce errors, BrightCIS makes managing subcontractors simple — even without BrightPay. For the smoothest experience, we recommend pairing BrightCIS with BrightPay. But if you’re using it on its own, you can still effortlessly import and update subcontractor details via CSV.
